Celebrity pals, family members from around the world, and a total of six ex-partners have been chosen to be among exclusive group who will be invited to the Royal Wedding. A total of 650 people were chosen to celebrate at the Palace: 50 guests received their invite directly from the Queen, 250 were invited by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, and 100 by the Middleton Family. William and Kate themselves have invited 250 of their friends and family. Only 300 of the guests will stay for the evening reception hosted by Prince Charles.
David and Victoria Beckham, film director Guy Ritchie, Singer Elton John and Comedian Rowan Atkinson are some of the celebrities who have been confirmed to be on the list. British Prime Minister David Cameron will also be among the guests.
The decision of Prince William to invite all (four) of his ex-girlfriends, and of Kate to invite two of her ex-boyfriends, lead to a lot of discussion in British media.
