Kate Middletons Wedding Dress Attracts more than 350.000 Visitors during the first Weeks on Display

Only six weeks after it went on display at the Buckingham Palace, more than 350.000 Visitors have come to see the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown, famously designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. More than 500.000 Visitors are expected until October 3rd, when the exhibition will close down.

For the Royal Collection at the Buckingham Palace this summer looks to be a record year. This will also benefit the Royal Wedding Charitable Gift Fund, which receives part of the admission and gives it to charities chosen by Prince William and Kate. Continue reading ›

The Queen has given the title of the Duke of Cambridge to Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton will be Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge. Kate Middleton’s parents get invited to the Queen’s Scottish estate

Michael and Carol Middleton, the parents of Kate Middleton, spent the weekend at Balmoral, Prince Charles’s private residence on the Queen’s Scottish estate. The invitation fuels speculation that the younger couple are poised to announce their engagement after an eight year courtship. An insider commented “This is the Middletons being taught to be able to join the royals at play.” The couple were invited as part of a “country pursuits” house party which Prince William hosts about once a yearin the familys retreat. Finally a Wedding at Westminster Abbey next August?

Sources say that personell at Westminster Abbey has been contacted by royal aides to make arrangements for a wedding on the second weekend in August 2011. While all speculations about a wedding next summer were dismissed by the palace, it now seems that there are indeed preparations going on. Kate takes Brithday Tea with the Queen

Kate Middleton is expected to celebrate her 28th birthday by joining Prince William on a trip to Sandringham to see the Queen. They will spend part of the weekend at the Royal Family’s Norfolk estate amid mounting speculation that they will soon announce their engagement. However the celebration will probably not be the wildest party they have ever been to.

2012 – Finally a Wedding Date for Kate and Wills?

According to recent rumors, Kate Middleton and Prince William have made a pact that they wont get married until 2011. But this will change when the Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee in 2012, which according to the rumors will also be the year when the couple finally gets married. William is said to be working on a route map to the altar togehter with his advisors and his father Prince Charles.
