Queen tells Prince William he shouldn’t expect a huge wedding

The Queen has reportedly told grandson Prince William that he shouldn’t expect a huge public event if and when he marries long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton. The wedding of William’s parents, Prince Charles and Diana Princess of Wales, in 1981 was attended by 3,500 invited guests and watched on television by an estimated 750million around the world. more

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy have split after five years of dating, a royal source said on Saturday. The pair, parted amicably, the source added. Clarence House, the official residence of Harry’s father Prince Charles, said it would not comment on the personal life of the third-in-line to the throne. more

It is claimed that Prince William will propose to Kate Middleton this Friday as Kate turns 27 today, and William is said to be planning to make her day extra special. U.K. bookmaker Ladbrokes has halved the odds of the pair announcing their engagement to 5/1 after it was flooded with bets.
