Biker princes speed off on 1000-mile African road trip

Prince William and Prince Harry roared off on the first stage of a 1,000-mile motorcycle trek across southern Africa yesterday – and immediately rode into controversy. Despite admitting that the eight-day off-road trip would be an “adventure”, the princes denied that it was a rich boys’ jolly. They are part of a group of 80 riders who are raising £300,000 for children’s charities. more
